Cactus Craft is anything and everything that makes you (and me) happy. It’s about taking time for yourself, stepping away from a busy schedule, and doing things that make you feel better about yourself - putting yourself first. It’s about recognizing that time is valuable and taking the opportunity to refill your own cup.

About the Owner:

Amanda Miller, a single mom raising her beautiful daughter, eventually met her forever partner, John Miller, who shared her love of adventure, exploration, and nature. Together, they took a leap of faith and purchased an off-grid property in Northern Arizona.

While waiting for their daughter to graduate in June 2023, Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer. During that time, she realized even more how precious time is and how important it is to do more of what makes you happy.

In November 2023, after completing treatment and becoming cancer-free, they made the move to their new life. Amanda fell in love with nature all over again and found peace in the quiet lifestyle.

A friend invited her to a paint-and-sip event, and it was there that she realized how much painting and crafting helped her relax. Although she was often her own worst critic when it came to her artwork, painting still filled her heart and brought her joy. At one of the paint-and-sip events she regularly attended, the artist said to her and her friend, “Why don’t you offer painting events where you live?”

And that’s when the idea began.

Amanda wanted to give others what had been given to her: time for themselves, time to relax, time to connect with friends or people they don’t see often, time to have fun, and time to learn how to express themselves creatively.

Anything that makes you feel good about yourself and refreshes your mind and soul.
